These colour dial Shanghai 7120s were very popular in China in the 1970s. The 7120 series were produced from 1972 to about 1983.

The faded dial works GREAT
in the blue ! It kind of looks like an explosion or burst of color. What's nice about
it, is that it adds another interesting layer to the watch. It even plays off the blue
thread in the strap perfectly imho. Also there seem to be some type of markings
on the crystal itself, that are extra eye-catching also ! Shanghai Slingcat got the Blues... Icon_cyclops

and case back is always fun to look at as well. It's cool to see that cat likes the
