Was offered this for a ridiculous price, always wanted one so I jumped!

Living proof that one need not spend a small fortune to get a seriously impressive timepiece. Maybe not to the "Swiss Made" standard (as if I gave a chute!), but is every bit a exceptional! Automatic chronographs just fascinate me - I just told a friend that I'm now wearing an engine and a transmission on my wrist! 8-) 8-)

May I present #20/100:
Prometheus CR1 DSC05394
Shipped Saturday morning, arrived Monday afternoon. (Hoorah for Priority shipping!)

I'll take it to the beach tomorrow for better shots, but here are the specs with the quick and dirty's:
Model: Chronograph CR1
Movement: Shanghai Automatic Chronograph Movement 3LZF2
Material: Stainless Steel
Crystals: Sapphire (front and back)
WR: 200M
Width: 41mm
Height: 16mm
Lugs: 20mm
Length (lug to lug): 50.5mm
Weight: 181 grams (head + bracelet with all links)
Prometheus CR1 DSC05401

Smooth and quick action screw down crowns and pushers. Ultra-smooth movement at 28,800 bph. Quality bracelet, although a little light for such a chunky case. 60-click bezel has a bit of play, but no rattles even when i tap it - only noticeable upon use but still does it's job precisely. (and who needs 120 clicks?)
Prometheus CR1 DSC05406
Prometheus CR1 DSC05415

Gorgeous movement with engraved logo and blue screws/yellow gears.
Prometheus CR1 DSC05405
Prometheus CR1 DSC05404

Great push-deployant clasp, solid quality.
Prometheus CR1 DSC05413
Prometheus CR1 DSC05414

Decent lume - definitely starts off well, can't say yet how long it lasts...
Prometheus CR1 DSC05402

Love it! Stay tuned, more to come but i need to sleep!

Great looking watch! Nice machining, cool caseback, proportions are excellent and it has a nice thick case, I like it. Congrats Andrew, enjoy wearing it.

Thanks guys! Not too big, not too small, perfect for me!

Definitely has heft! The case, anyway. Bracelet ain't bad at all but I've seen a lot of strap combos with this watch and they ALL WORK! Looking into it...

And that Kobold is just the look I wanted without hardly denting the checking account. I also really respect Carlos for pulling the plug on these when he found out about the similarity to the K. Guess he didn't want it to be known for a copy....but i don't mind one bit! Prometheus CR1 Icon_cheers

Holy COW !!! THIS watch looks IMPRESSIVE ! Prometheus CR1 Icon_eek Prometheus CR1 803574 The size,
the build, and the look really seem top notch ! I like that bezel
VERY much. The black is bold, and stands out nicely against the
stainless steel. Some superb hands, and markers too imho ! Prometheus CR1 46145
There is an aggressive feeling with the watch, mixed with a
refined touch, as is evident with that EXCELLENT case back,
and movement ! Fantastic pics by the way ! Congratulations
Andrew ! Enjoy !!!

. . . looks like a hell of a watch!!!

. . . has all the marks we look for in a decent watch, and even leaves money in the bank for the next buy!!!!

. . . love the engine, does it have the wobble???? Congrats, another piece of variety here at XMT!!!!

Very nice looking watch. I'm interested in what you think of the Chinese chrono movement. I've heard a lot of good things from people that own them. Looking forward to hearing your take on the movement. Congratz on the Prometheus!

Well Duff, so far it ain't exactly the most accurate, but I've been running the chronograph a lot and that can affect accuracy. But the movement is VERY smooth, feels very precise winding it...and looks cool as hell! Prometheus CR1 803574

I'm checking with a dude about regulating, but we'll see how much it's going to be first. The whole reason I got this is because of the minimal investment, so if it's expensive I'd rather just set the time on it every day and enjoy the rest of it, flaws and all.

Been wearing it for over a day, including to bed. Really, REALLY like this one!
