Tudor Finally strikes back ...

Tudor ? well they don't even sell them in the States ...
A brand that was a Rolex sub-company that creates watches with Rolex cases and bracelets using ETA movements.
But hey I liked them, sure poor-mans Rolex. They basically offered a line of watches very similar to the available Rolex models, like the Submariner, Day-Date and Date-Just.

"Hans Wilsdorf (founder of Rolex) came up with Tudor Watch Company in 1946 to make sure that people who weren’t fortunate enough to afford a Rolex at least could get a watch created with the same care and quality control, but without the in-house movement like the Rolex watches (the Daytona has been an exception on this till 2000, using Valjoux and Zenith chronograph movements)."

But about 5 or so years ago Tudor took off in their own direction, what direction not sure but they didn't really seem to come up with any thing that would make one still want to buy a watch if you could not afford a Rolex ....Almost like they joined the Swatch Group ...


well even if they had to return to vintage watches I have seen a few very nice new watches in Hong Kong a few monthes ago and this one is a real beautifier ....
One of the best looking watches I've seen in a while ... andI'm not even a big crono guy ...

This Tudor is off the charts Noah !
I like the markers, and how they seem to mirror
the shape of the Tudor logo. Those hands are
something you don't see on other watches either.
Genuinely think these watches offer a ton of

I love this watch and I'm going to see how difficult and how much it would cost me to get one. I've heard mumbling that there could be some US distribution of this model. I've got to start calling ADs and inquiring to see if that's the case.

From the latest I'm hearing, I think you're right Snak. They should be coming to Canada though.
