Just noticed on the new G-shock, the minute hand moves forward every 20 seconds...
...kind COOL!

Strange...you may want to lock it up at night. I think it may be one of those transformers!! Some day you may wake up with your pants on backwards and a bump on your head...watch out, those robots are tricky!!

that is the new huge G shock G-100? in black....Love the dial but it is 50mm wide or wider! I wanted the yellow Transformer version but found out how wide it was and nixed the idea.... My vintage Seiko adventure Landtrek 8F56 GMT perpet minute hand moves in 4 steps, I think,...accuracy of my 2000 model is listed then at +-20secs/YEAR!

When I first noticed that on I think my G-100 I thought something was wrong but then I had read that was the way the hands move. Takes a little to get the hang of it so that the minute hand flips right when it hits 60 seconds.

Just found this older 2000ish G Shock used here in Japan..DW9052, a cultish model after this torture test had been posted in 2007...going back to the used store tomorrow and getting it for $35usd!
