...I know Ford produced some a few years back the public could actually buy.

Oh that IS just TOO GOOD right there !
I happen to be a Ford fan too !!! ..So thanks
for taking some pics of that one also. I know
the Ford GT had a similar engine to the one in
GT-500 Mustang ! ..This one probably has
a few extras added I bet ! ..Excellent shots

The Ford was probably the loudest car on the track - just beastly!

The Ferrari's have a higher pitch and the Americans, vette & GT40, have a really deep, big bore exhaust note.

Now that you mention it, not one Mustang was at the race. In the past, there were several but those would be a class further down than these monsters.

It's great to hear the fabulous sounds echo through the countryside:

Extremely interesting how the different cars have their own signature sounds like
that ! ..With the Mustangs, I know many many people race them, both independently,
as well as with factory support. Would be nice to see them in the future racing in
this ! ..Guess we'll have to wait and see !

Too bad the Ford GT is not yet competitive. A cool looking car and sounds great but is no match for others in the GT class.
