Breitling is my brand!

I've come to realize that i'm a Breitling guy and love just about everything in the aeromarine series! Owning a SuperOcean and a Avenger SeaWolf both with black dial i was looking for another piece. Wanted a lighter color dial, or Chrono and maybe even built in Titanium, well i killed three birds in one shot! Just picked up a used (in very good condition) 2004 Chrono Avenger with the older dial, in cream with a Ti case and bracelet, boxes and all paperwork from AD with all matching numbers. After wearing G-shocks i liked the weight so Ti was really sounding good, this watch is light but you know its there, timed it for the last 24 hours and its about 4 seconds slow, not too bad! The early models came on a proI bracelet and the latter the proII, owning both of these bracelets the proI is much more comfortable and has a divers extension! The Chrono Avenger is the result of extensive research aimed at improving the essential features of Breitling wrist instruments, both for civilian or military use. This heavy duty chronograph incorporates major technical and aesthetic innovations. Its sturdy construction is a reminder that Chrono avenger is designed for intensive use.

The dial of the Chrono Avenger was changed during it's production. Later examples of the Chrono Avenger have the concentric circular patterning on the subdials, while earlier ones did not. The later models also have the painted date wheel with the darker font where as the earlier ones are printed and appear lighter. The shape of the number "8" as well is different on the two models.

Thanks guys, really liked the older dial that didnt have all the circular patterns on the subdails but would have been just happy with either style! Think i will look for a black Hershey bar style Breitling rubber strap and have uncle Ron blast the buckle to make it look more like Ti, would be a nice change and i think it would look sweet on black rubber and love the old style of breitling running down the strap!

Hey Steve it sat there for awhile and the price kept falling, i took the pics over to Breitling Source and asked for some more pics of the paperwork and all the experts said it was the real deal, then i worried someone else would snag it! Bruce was a great guy to deal with and he held it for me a couple days, He doesnt do alot of watch forum stuff but is real big in the flashlight forums?? People laugh at us for watches!

Awesome. Are the chronograph pushers operable at depth?

You DEFINITELY picked out a winner with this new Breitling of
yours Trevor ! ..This Chrono Avenger couldn't be cooler from
what I'm seeing here, but then again there really isn't a watch
that they make that isn't already super smooth. Just looking at
this cream dial alone is insanely fun. I mean the way it looks is
NICE, but when you look at how that color dial works with this
titanium on the watch. That's when you have to smile !!!
Not only is the color of the dial perfect for that finish on the
watch, but it literally seems to mirror the finish in some of the
pictures in my opinion. I like that VERY much ! ..Speaking of
liking things alot, how about the titanium ?! ..That is something
special by the looks of it. Kind of has a hint of almost gold in
it. I guess that is the metal flakes or something, but it looks
FANTASTIC in any case. Would be a neat if a strap's buckle
were bead blasted like you said, because the titanium actually
does remind you of a bead blasted finish. The weight must be
pretty interesting with it too. Also want to add that the bezel
on your new watch is outstanding with all of the peaks and
valleys. It's not your everyday bezel, and I think it's another
aspect of the watch that not only looks great, but also stands
out a bit. Moving back to the dial for a second, it's excellent
how the cream color works with the black hands and accents.
Even the actual white on the hands shows up perfectly, while
blending in with the dial. Oh, and the sub-dials are perfect,
because they add to the dial, rather than take it over imho.
VERY NICE there as well ! Honestly there isn't one part
of the watch that isn't nice. I think the story is the watch
has everything going for it. The dial, titanium finish, and even
the bracelet is PHENOMENAL ! ..The Breitling 13 movement
sounds AMAZING as well. Great stuff Trevor ! I knew you were
up to something special with selling all of those watches.
