Just found these two new models. What do you think ?

Doxa Grafic Mistero and Waltham Lone Eagle SW45 Doxa_Graphic%20Mistero_2299_D_1-thumb-450x458-10494
The Doxa Grafic Mistero has two superimposed dials which are pierced to show the chronograph
counters. It is said to be a return to the Bauhaus movement with it's focus on minimalism, and
architecture. Some specifications include a 43mm round stainless steel, or black IP case, as
well as a 44mm rectangular case. The watch uses a quartz movement, and has hour, minutes,
seconds, date, and chronograph. Water resistance is 50m, and it comes with a black rubber
strap. Price $500-$999.

Doxa Grafic Mistero and Waltham Lone Eagle SW45 I_2289_1
Inspired by the 1950's a revolutionary age in aviation, and taking it's name from Bearing Lindbergh's
nickname, the Lone Eagle. This watch has aviation inspired hour markers, propeller shaped hands,
crown, pushers, along with a riveted bracelet. The movement is a COSC certified Automatic Dubois
Depraz 3142 Calibre, along with steel 45mm case with screw-down back with an engraved eagle,
which is the brands symbol. The dial is black with silver counters, and flange, chronograph small
seconds at 3 o'clock, 30 minute counter at 9 o'clock, and date at 6 o'clock. There is also a GMT
time zone corrector at 10 o'clock. Luminescent Arabic numerals, a black buffalo strap, as well as
choice of a Navy Blue dial is also available.

Definitely Alan ! The Doxa really surprised me since it seems totally different than what
they usually make. Will be cool to see if they end up adding some automatic versions
at some point also. Thought the Waltham was pretty impressive too. It seems to have
a real presence about it with it's bold, but still classic look imho.

Have to agree with you John, and Chris ! Doxa Grafic Mistero and Waltham Lone Eagle SW45 46145 It's great to see something different like this
from Doxa, and Waltham. This way you have both their traditional, as well as their modern
watches to enjoy at the same time.

Neither really do much for me. The Waltham is really surprising to me at least. I may have to rethink my cheap Chinese crap As Seen on TV in regards to their current models.

You are right Mark. The Waltham does seem to have taken things up a few levels with
this one here. Don't really remember seeing anything like this from them that I can think
of recently.
