..This new Revue
Thommen of yours is a genuine Grand Slam. It's off the charts in every aspect from
the dial, to the bezel, case, and bracelet. It has that classic look you were looking
for, along with some new modern twists also imho.
Just seeing your great pics
shows that the watch seems to be the perfect size too. There really seems to be
a supercharging of the classic style here. For instance, the style of the bezel is just
incredible. On the one hand you have a familiar, and memorable look happening with
all of the various markings, along with numbers. However, on the other, you see
that there is a clever back, and forth of hash mark sizes which is really fantastic.
Honestly allows the watch to pay homage to past classic dive watches, while bringing
in it's own personality at the same time. Can't say enough how nice the numbers
on the bezel look either with their traditional style, and that coin edge is yet another
Home Run if you ask me as well. Revue Thommen even added in the classic lume
pip. AWESOME ! ..The matching color on both the bezel, along with dial is always
neat to see also Dave. It just really makes the entire watch flow so well I think.
While also seemingly making the dial look a touch BIGGER as well ! VERY nice !!!
I like how Revue Thommen went with those elongated markers on the dial by the
way. They not only fit on the dial incredibly well in between the sub-dials, but
also mirror the marker look on the bezel as well. It's pretty spectacular imho.
There REALLY looks to be a classic, yet modern theme happening. ..Even the
way the hands are done with their LARGE, uniquely cool skeletonized shapes is
unforgettable. You have a different look that stands out in a crowd of dive watch
hands, but still a look that is extremely classy TOO ! ..Those stunning sub-dials
add in yet another classic twist with their color, as well as hands. While the detailed
tachymetre adds in some extra enjoyment, and excitement also. Yowza ! Genuinely
looks like Revue wanted to perfect, as well as put their own mark on this watch
style Dave. Not only did you end up getting that classic look you had wanted, but
it seems like you got a whole lot more. Even the sporty red accents on the dial
take things up another level, and how about the dual finishes of the bracelet
right here ?!
You can tell the brushing on those outer links is as good
as it can possibly be. Plus the polishing on the center links looks to be of the
highest quality as well. Maybe that is one of the main themes here with your
new watch, Quality ! ..Quality, that can be seen in the look, and probably the
feel of the watch too. What an incredible watch here sir. It has the classic, along
with modern characteristics down perfectly, and it's definitely going to fit nicely
into your collection. Congratulations to you, and I hope you will really enjoy it !
