Just found this cool company named Berkbinder & Brown Iron Works, and their TOOL WATCH. The watches are made by Designer Ted Brown of the Berkbinder and Brown Design Company. They focus on everything from creating different furniture, and fixtures, to lighting, accessories, as well as various other objects of metal. As a Custom Designer Ted has vast experience in forging, welding, precision machining, fine metal work, woodworking, architectural work, casting, painting, sculpting, and more. He even founded his own Architectural and Construction company called Traditional Concepts Inc. years ago. Now he begins a focus on watches. Here is some information about the TOOL WATCH. Named the T46, the "T" stands for TOOL WATCH, and the "46" represents the case size which is in millimeters. The cases themselves come in either alloyed bronze, or 304 stainless steel. They are two piece cases, which are closed by miniature bolts, along with "O" Ring gaskets. In addition the CNC machined case also has internal lugs for a small footprint on your wrist. Some of the other specifications include screw down crown, 100m water resistance, 3mm saphire crystal on front, 2mm mineral crystal exhibition case- back, along with the ETA 2824-2 movement. The dial is a matte black, which is easy to read with it's luminous Arabic numbers, and hands as well. A black, or brown calfskin stitched strap also comes with the T46.
Here is a link to their site where you can see this info, and much more, plus there is also a video...

I have been looking for a watch case in bronze, but this wont be it. I like some of it but they dont give you any choices, on the dial, hands. I realy dont like watch cases without lugs, so this one just wont fly for me but maybe someone else. thanks tom

$1500.00 for a standard 2824-2 in bronze, $1200 in steel....cool and unique but not going to jump off the cliff for that kind of $$.

Great points guys !
Steve, we'll have to keep an eye out for that Bronze watch for you ! Maybe we might even see some other different models from Berkbinder & Brown for you down the road also at some point. You never know.
Gary, I had somehow missed the price with these. Thanks for the info. Think it genuinely has do with these watches having that uniqueness you mentioned, as well as the watches basically being built by them from the ground up like they are.

Sorry Tom - god awful looking. Seems like they're trying to expand on the Tuna and Halios Puck. But poorly executed design wise - lots of uncomplimentary components.

No need to apologize at all Jeffrey. Opinions are a big part of this hobby, and honestly make it a lot more interesting. There are just so many watches, along with watch companies around. We're not all going to like everything. It's just cool to see everyone's different thoughts on things if you ask me sir.
