| Here is a Seiko which represents a rare one to find. It likely has a non-authentic orange dial. The 6309 diver series came in two cases , one is the full cushion size and the other is a slimmer casing, the 029A and B, the B model being the orange dial version -rare to find, so collectors say. I got this in a trade and sent it to Jake B who inspected it and told me his findings: the dial was not original, the bezel that came with it was bent so it would not turn smoothly, the crystal was not OEM, the movement showed signs of water ingress. Jake replaced the bezel and crystal with OEM Seiko parts and installed another 6309 used movement he had extra. The caseback is original, however, showing it tobe the B version. wrist4 on music sheet good by thianwong1, on Flickr | |
