New ( To Me ) Christopher Ward C8 Pilot MK I

I've been waiting for one of these to appear on ebay. Last week this very nice example came up for auction. I won the auction, and today the postie delivered my prize. It's my third C8 and it looks like brand new. Suffice to say I'm quite pleased.

Congratulations on this win, and watch Rick ! ..This CW will fit right
in with your other outstanding CW's. It's got the stand out looks, and
design, together with the traditional feel all put together just like all of
the rest of your CW's. Which is really unbelievable, as well as impressive.
The design alone is one that first grabs you with it's vintage traditions.
It's case shape, and crown being the first to let you know that this is
one serious aviation watch. Then the hands, along with dial markings
are the next thing to captivate. However, then as you are enjoying
the case, and dial.You see that there are different, unique things going
on. From the beautiful finish on the case, to the various accents, and
shape changes on the dial. Take the triangle markers just as one of
the examples. The shape of it is similar to what we might expect on
other aviation watches, but the way it's cut, and bends is excellent.
It really sets the whole tone for the watch. Then after that it keeps
going with beautiful sleek hand shapes, cool colors, markings, and
more. Really is something to see in the pictures, and must be even
more unbelievable to experience in person Rick. Congratulations, and
