Butler's Professional Series GMT and J80

O.K. everyone, here's another nice looking GMT.    This one is Butler's Professional Series GMT, and some
of the specifications include a 40 mm brushed, or DLC matte blacked coated stainless steel case, decorated
screw down case-back, an AR coated domed sapphire crystal, metal dial, and chapter ring with hands, and
markers done in SuperLuminova, 100 meter WR, Swiss Ronda Powertech caliber 515.24h quartz movement,
and leather strap made in the USA.

The Pro J80 is another nice watch, and is a chronograph named after the Jet Route 80 which goes from California
to Maine. The watch's name pays tribute to all the pilot's over the years who've flown using VOR to VOR navigation.
Where aircraft use received short-wave radio signals to navigate, and stay on course while flying. It has the same
dimensions as the GMT, as well as finishes, and specifications, but uses Ronda's 5021.D quartz everybody.

At nearly $500 this is a bit of a turn off.....a GMT Swiss Ronda should be in the $200-$300 range at most. Even for USA made etc. We all have to play on the world stage and I just don't see $450-500 of value here. I hope they do well.

Yup, you're right Gary, that does sound high. ..Actually didn't even know what the cost of a Ronda GMT movement was supposed to be.
So thanks once again there !

I hope they do well also, and that the prices come down for these. ..I mean that way they'll even sell more watches right?!

A note in our defense:

The Butler Professional Series GMT is a great watch.  If you want all of your watches to be $200, then you will not get a good watch with quality components.
