Did anyone happen to check this neat news out?
Looks like the Weiss Watch Company's new Caliber 1003 will be, or is a US-made caliber, and will have
even more components machined within Weiss studios itself. Both American, and Swiss parts make up the
Caliber 1003, which has a beat rate of 21,600 vph, seconds hacking, new mainspring, and is rhodium plated.
With the watch itself having a naval brass dial in hand painted military green, machined stainless steel case,
sapphire crystals, and handmade leather straps by Horween.
On top of that, there's even a new 38mm watch on the horizon with Swiss/American Weiss caliber 2100
automatic inside. Which beats at 28,800 vph, has a power reserve of 65 hours, and is hand assembled,
and finished right in Los Angeles
