Interesting Seiko 5

Just picked up this Seiko 5. It's the SRPE79, they call this 'grey with leather strap', but that is quite the understatement. The dial is textured, the case is a weathered looking DLC type coating, and the strap is leather sewn/glued on top of silicone! Like I say it's interesting, cheap (well under $300), and looks great.

Whoa, that really is something to see, and actually reminds me of some of the crazy cool exceptional
Grand Seiko’s we have been seeing in recent years ! I mean the dial all by itself is unbelievable
really sir, and very unique right?! It’s like this mix of perlage, and some type of ancient Japanese
decoration. Yowzers, it is remarkable, but check out how it teams up with that weathered DLC finish !
That is out of this world wonderful as well, and gives the watch a feeling all it’s own I think. Seriously,
the level of detail, as well as individuality with this one makes it feel like a Grand Seiko like I said G.
Or some kind of limited special edition !
