I was able to get on last night.

FYI - I was having an issue with the site loading really slow on my computer over the past week or so. It seems to have worked its way out now.

Good luck man!

I'd be willing to chip in too Alan.
As I have said, if it is our site, we should be willing to contribute what we can to help ZMT out!

It was sad last night. . it was like going to bed without dessert. I missed Z's place last night. Let me know if there is someway to pitch in for a resolution.

not much, the site went back up.
But I just wanted to see how others were set up, what they used and how the formates were. I know the options on vbulletin are great. I like the way Watch Freeks is set up too and will ask Don or TV what they think of it. Forumotion is fine but limited on options, free though.

Z - you can PM me (or email) anytime about the forum software we use. I have used it on many many forums for years and works well, is easily configurable and a lot of built in options. It is not free, but is less then Vbulletin (which I also like and have used in the past)

More importantly is getting with a hosting company that specifically has experience hosting forums. Godaddy IS NOT the best hosting company for a busy forum and I would not recommend them first. They are great for buying domain names and static websites, but not that good for forums. I have used a bunch of different hosting companies also and can recommend a few for you.
