Oops, I voted before I read the thread. I thought you were asking who is getting crazy with prices. So move my vote to the Omega side.
In my opinion, the Panerai brand (although nice and all) simply does not command the price for the offerings. Especially since they are all so similar.
Go with Omega. Omega is a piece that you will treasure. Panerai is one you will worry about simply because it is so expensive.

I went with the Omega..It just seems to have it all ! Quality, both in performance as well as build ! It's just one of those special watches in my opinion ! I also love Panerai as well..and have seen some of Barns pictures of his..those are REALLY nice and are right up there with Omega !..However, between this Panerai shown and the PO..the PO edges this particular Panerai model out..just an opinion !

Cool Z..you really couldn't go wrong with either decision ! Plus like you said evidently the Omega is a bit thin and small now. It's good that you have been testing them out on the wrist. It's hard to tell how good a watch is from only pictures. Very COOL news..keep us posted on things !
