| Anyone ever heard of Blancpain (Fifty Fathoms), Ulysse Nardin (Maxi Marine), Eterna (Kon Tiki), or Muhle Glasshutte (Rasmus or Nautic Timer)? | |

Thanks Cali..I tried to get a bunch in there..from affordable to a little more mid-range..I didn't want to go too far !..I know there are alot of watch brands I missed..especially the very expensive higher end brands. Basically wanted to stay between $300-$3000 ! ____________________________________

Your welcome Barn !..At least it's scratching the surface a bit. I know there are other Dive Watch companies, from small to big, and affordable to very expensive out there. Hopefully we can add more and more as we go !..Here are a couple more to add.. http://www.ocean7watchco.com/cs1/index.phphttp://www.nfwonline.com/____________________________________

Well WTF, ok let's start this party...... who died and made Boschett the Diver of Divers? At $450 a pop for the Cave Dweller, it's a nice watch, but come on, it's a Miyota. Someone splain......
No disrespect to you Boshett Owners. I don't think anyone really said they were the best. Somehow this thread veered way off course, because by default the "Best" list would be very short. Maybe three or four companies from low budget offerings to sell your house and buy a watch. I bought one of the original Boschett Cave Dwellers for $325 and its worth the money IMO. Only 300 made, and I would'nt sell it for what I paid now.

- Agghh, I knew I'd upset someone, sorry about that Mark. I do love the looks of the watch, and I'd love to have one, but the price point is too steep for my liking is all. Sounds like you got a good deal on one. I'd be willing to entertain the $275 mark.
Did'nt upset me any. Its all perspective-there are people paying much more for Miyota movements in other brands. Cave Dwellers usually sell pretty quickly on sales forums, and hold their price a lot better than a most brands. That holding value topic is for another day....

Of the newer boutique brands, ppl. should really consider Dwatch. Pretty big at 46mm. but I don't think it's bad on my 7 1/4" wrist. You get to customize your watch probably hundreds of different ways and it's NOT a chinese catalogue watch. You can't beat Stowa divers at, or a fair bit beyond their prices also. I think that's the first time I ever saw the DWatch that you wound up with. Pretty sweet. I love that bezel and the PVD is very cool.
