| This is a fairly common Russian watch, Vostok Amphibian, lots of different dials available on this one. You can usually get this watch for about $50 in ebay. It's an automatic but also hand winds. The crown and winding mechanism is very unique. The crown itself is loose and quite wobbly on the stem. When you first unscrew the crown, it is a position that does nothgin. If you pull it out slightly it engages to hand wind the spring - you have to keep tension outward while winding, otherwise it just slips. Pull harder and the crown clicks out one stop further to set the time. I complained about all of this to the seller I got it from and he said it is all normal for this watch.

| Wow SynMike that is one nice looking Russian watch ! Plus for that price..it's hard to beat ! The dial is especially eye catching with the shield and large writing. I also like the bezel..it's different and colorful as well. Tough looking strap too, along with some awesome pictures ! Thank You for sharing ! ____________________________________ | |
