Can you say BUSY?

New Omega... Mu9

Limited Edition of 1,941 Pieces

The “Milestone 1941”
Collector’s Piece is the ninth release in OMEGA’s Museum Collection.
The Museum Collection is the result of OMEGA’s desire to combine the
historic values of the brand with its dedication to state-of-the-art
horological standards. Each year, the OMEGA Museum Collection selects
one classic timepiece – it has to be more than fifty years old – and
honours it with a reissue blending its design excellence with OMEGA’s
tradition of innovative contemporary watchmaking.

The
“Milestone 1941” is based on OMEGA’s reference “CK 2080”, a stainless
steel watch launched in 1938 and favoured by high-ranking military
officers. The specific watch which inspired the ninth member of the
Museum Collection was delivered in 1941 and sold at the Omegamania
Auction in 2007. While the new watch has been designed with the utmost
respect for its predecessor, it incorporates OMEGA’s state-of-the-art
Co-Axial technology and exquisite materials.

There is alot going on with this Omega..that's for sure.
Evidently the watch has some cool historical roots and
they have given it a nice updating !..Probably not the
easiest watch to read..but it's still cool to see ! New Omega... Icon_smile
THX !

I don't like it, not my style. I don't hate it though-if someone wants to buy me one for Christmas be sure to send an extra strap.

Typically I like this style watch 'old school with cathedral hands'. I think if you step away from this watch, it is actually easy to read with a black face and white hands. The busy stuff is for close up work of some type (what is all that crap?), most likely uber expensive for what it is, so only for rich collectors anyway (just like the original).

Not to my liking but, make it a 3 hand with a clean dial and I would really consider it.
