| I suppose I would get either a used Breitling SO Heritage 46 or a used RGM 300 Diver. If I had any money left over I would likely get a Halios Bluering. | |

There are no rules. You have $2500 to spend on a watch or watches. What is your liking? OK, I actually thought about this for the past 2 days. Here is what I would do with the $2500. What do you guys think about this line up for $2500.1) $1100 - Oris Watches TT1 Divers Small Second, Date 64376098454MB
2) $500 NFW Viperfish is a watch I really like from the mock ups so far, especially the yellow against the black dial. 3) $300 Chase Durer Pilot Commander II - 46mm 4) $400 Citizen Atomic Chronograph BY0000-56E5) THAT LEAVES ME WITH $200 TO GET THIS USED - Zodiac Oceanaire on Metal Bracelet - In order of color - blue Z08004, orange Z08002 (only with bracelet)

Since you asked...... I owned that particular Oris for a while and the size is extremely deceptive. The donut case flares out at the caseback to 44mm and this is the diameter they claim the case to be. In actuality, the bezel measures in at about 40.5 mm and the dial itself is TINY! If you are expecting the watch to wear at 44mm...AVOID. Other than that, niceley made watch with good fit and finish. Now don't flame me, but that NFW is a TOTAL Seiko rip-off. This is my opinion of course. Everything else on your list is top notch! Especially the Oceanaire! Thanks for the feedback. I tried that Oris on recently at Tourneau and was happy with the size of that one, compared to the other smaller ones. On the Viperfish I actually held the prototype case for the 3 hand and the chrono at the PA GGT. The case he is working with now is a little different then the older mock up below. I do not think I have seen a case like the one the Viperfish will end up in. I am basing putting it on my list totally on how I hope it will end up looking, bracelet quality, etc. Now onto realisty, I WISH I did have the $2500 so I could buy those watches and just love 2010.

- Tom, looks like you should have got in on Alan Zodiac fire sale a while back. He probably had inventory of all those Z watches you are looking for at great prices.
You are probably right sir ! It would have been the smart thing to do and it would have been COOL ! However at that time I wasn't able to because I had already spent too much on watches. Nevertheless I would have been honored to buy and own a watch of Alans. ____________________________________
