You don't know much about Hamilton?? C'mon on Don,you gotta lay off the GS cookies and start reading the many forums that you belong to that heve extensive discussion and, even sub-fora, dedicated to the brand. I'm getting worried about you. |

| You are a hot mess Don. Why don't you know anything about these brands? You belong to multiple forums. Do you read? I only have a handfull of watches but can factually tell you a little something or other about most brands. I as well, am worried about you. I told you that Khaki Officer wasn't a keeper. HOT MESS |

| Upon further review I raelize that Don is asking about Steinhart and his poorly worded query led many to think it was Hamilton that he was asking about. Sorry Don. But the Steinhart/Debaufre/Triton connection is also pretty much common discussion fodder on many a forum. BTW I love my Debaufre Triton even though I hate the name. I'll post yet another picture of it in case you missed the previous 100.

| Foggy, you are right, I reread the post and I should have been a little clearer in what I was asking. I am asking about the Steinhart Triton. |

I told you that Khaki Officer wasn't a keeper. HOT MESS Mikey, you can pound a big bag of salt up your azz. And your over use of the expression "Hot Mess" is getting on my nerves. You and I have to meet up some time for a 3 round match MMA style. |

| Steinhart has a great CS reputation. Dave just wrote extensively about his experience with them. Not my cup of tea but I believe that they are one Micro Brand that has its act together. Their weirdly named former cohort here in the States is another matter.
Don, from one friend to another, I have a single word for you buddy - Decaf. |

I'm surprised you would own a watch this big Foggy. It isn't beyond the realm of possibility for me . It's 45 mm which fits OK on my wrist. Just a tad smaller than my PO. May not be feasible for your GS wrist though! |

| Funny guy, you can line up right behind Mike and Jerry. I'll take all of y'all on. It looks great on your wrist, fine looking watch. I'm going to give it some time to see if I can track down a Hammy Seaview but I really like the look of that Triton. |

To be honest I think you should look for a Triton. Less $$ and a better looking watch. That Hammie is from their ill-fated attempt to change their image and is as popular as the Code-Breaker and Route 66. Wait a year and the secondary market will be flooded with them. However now that Debaufre and Steinhart have parted ways an original or second gen triton may be more desireble. Or just search the various fora yourself and quit asking others to do the legwork for you! HOT MESS! |

I agree with froggy, but for different reasons. Hammie is great but i think that triton is a little more you, Don. Bigger case size, a little more chunk. jm2c... |

| Well the Hammy is actually 46mm, so ya figure looks wise the Triton is a sharper looking watch from what I gather. I still haven't asked the seller if he will ship to Canada. |

| Both the Hamilton and Triton are great watches (IMHO) Don !..It just comes down to which one appeals to you more. The Below Zero has ALWAYS seemed GREAT to me !..The look, the size, the movement and overall theme is just really COOL ! (pun intended there) On the other side you have the Triton. Also a good look, size, movement etc. Both watches have similar size and both watches are extremely tough looking. I would tend to lean toward the Below Zero myself. However that price on the Steinhart is NICE too ! In the end, I think you would be happy with either. Plus no matter which one you decide on now..you will still be able to get the other one down the road !..Good Luck deciding sir ! ____________________________________ | |

| Well Ron, that's the one I went with. I'm just waiting for his Paypal addy and he will be mailing it out tomorrow. The drawback is he's in NC on the east coast so it will take a week of Sundays for it to arrive in Western Canada. I actually don't mind the bezel, sometimes simplicity is better than complicated. And yes, I'm still a hot mess, thanks for the input guys. |
