| So I wore my new stainless Seiko yesterday, had the allergy issue again. Didn't have it when I wore my new Ti Citizen on Wednesday or Thurs. So I think I'm going to have to go totally TI or mostly TI. Expensive! I know I can replace my Omega SMP and was looking at a TI Tag Kirum (nice) today. Can any one tell me other brands with TI sports models other than Oris, Casio, Seiko. Also interested in dressy models. Thanks |

| Sorry to hear that - Much prefer the weight of SS. But have a few Ti watches. Renato Titanium T-Rex (a.k.a. Ti-Rex) Sector 600 (available in Ti exactly like this SS, other 600 design variants around) Invicta Sea Vulture ETA 2894-2 (if you're so inclined - but tough to find) | |

| I don't think I've ever heard of someone being allergic to SS. Like Cali said, I wonder if a higher grade would have the same reaction? |

| . . . strange. Is this a recent occurrence with the reaction to SS? I was reading an article the other day about more and more alloy work containing cadmium. It is cheap and is being used in place of lead as a filler metal, for the sake of cost. Cadmium is a toxic metal. I know that it is being used in jewelery (earrings, necklaces, bracelets, etc.) . . . . Makes me wonder if it is finding it's way into watch cases and bracelets??? The watch manufacturer would not necessarily be aware of it being used, if they are out sourcing the parts manufacturing . . . . Only watch I have that is Ti is . . . . you guessed it, an Invicta Force Titanium . . . another one of their nicer, pre-all-fugged up stage . . . |

| I like titanium. Most magnetometers do pick them up. I wear my Seamaster exclusively for air travel and courthouses. | |

| I like my Ti Seamaster for it's light weight. If you like a hefty watch go for solid gold. | |
