| I've found deals on used watches at pawn shops, a real-life watch store and on ebay. Where is your favorite hunting ground? |

You found a can of Del Monte Cherry Mixed Fruit at a high-end jewelry store? Wonder what the prize was in the bottom of the Cracker Jack box? |

| i go with forum because most guys care about their watches and take better care of them if they waste their day at the forums like me!!! that being said there is alot of crooks preying on a trusting watch community so be careful and get some real feedback, if someone wants to trade and you have way more post than them demand they send out their watch first and you will send out yours when the other arrives in good shape!! I try to deal with guys i know and most like to flip and have great collections! At Wg's i always sent the watch first and collected the funds after the customer was happy but it was a small happy place back then! |

| I hunt them all, forums, ebay, Pawn shops, antique stores, antiques shows, online, Local AD's, Tourneau, just about anyplace!! Of the choices I picked forums because the watches are usually a good deal, and in great shape, less risk than some other online venues. ____________________________________ Later, GaryRemember we are the caretakers of mechanical art..... Yes! This is a good thing as you and I know, though I didn't vote that way. Many watches returned to ShopNBC are sold again as new. Really, it doesn't matter if a watch has been sized and only worn in the house for 29 days. |

| I've gotten great deals on Forums, eBay, and E-Tailors. 2 of my watches were from Retail B&M and that's about it. I'll have to hit a Pawn shop for the hell of it and see what's happening there. |

| I found pawn shops to be expensive. I was in the biggest one we have in Edmonton and his prices were insane, I never went back. |

| Most of my purchases are new and from AD's. When I do buy used it is always from a trusted watch forum member. I am always sure to not ask any questions about the watch and always pay the full asking price without hesitation. I wouldn't want to piss any sellers off. |

| Most of my collection that I have now was begot through forums and private sellers. Only one purchase was through a gray market that I was very comfortable with and I have kept one tv brand. My PRIOR collection was sadly,...........mostly TV brands. | |
