ARCHIMEDE SportTaucher
By TLex

The ARCHIMEDE SportTacucher is a new midsized diver manufactured by Ickler the same German case maker who make the Limes 1tausend and Endurance 1000m. It is available in two case finishes PVD or steel.

Archimede Sport%2B00

From ARCHIMEDE We have updated this tough, distinctive, 300m rated divers watch, giving it a re-engineered bezel, up-rated crown-tube system and a rounded case back for greater comfort. We have also introduced a black PVD version.

The high-grade stainless-steel 41.5mm case is only 12mm thick, making this not only a serious diving watch, but also comfortable every day wear. The screw-down crown is at four o'clock for protection and the case features a crown guard. The simple clean dial ensures easy readability. The bezel is unidirectional, with a diver specific 60 minute scale and a luminous marker at 12 o'clock.

This is a robust watch and it uses a robust movement, the highly regarded Swiss ETA 2824-2 automatic. Straps are crafted from genuine sharkskin or rubber. A stainless steel bracelet with safety clasp and fold-out extension, to enable wearing it over a wetsuit, is also available.

Nice looking bunch, reminds me a bit of an Omega PO. A bit pricey for a 2824-2, case is a bit small. Not bad though.

These Archimede's look VERY well made ! That brushing
on the case as well as bezel is NICE too. I like them all,
but the one with orange on the dial, hands and strap
is extra good IMHO !..That movement is a big plus also !
Nice find sir !
