| A mod by Noah or Harold might be a good option I know they have the parts and the skills to put together what you need. Noah even has an all black bezel insert similar to the Blancpain Bund on his parts site. |

| I agree with cski, go with a Noah mod. He has extensive parts to approximate your Blancpain and the total price for the modded watch would be well reasonable. You can ask which case size he has as in the SKX007 or the midsized 033 casing...and if you wished to change an bezel insert etc., he usually has optional parts to suit your taste. He has modded several watches of mine as the 6309 and a quartz Seiko 7548. | |

| thanx Cski and Thianwong, your suggestions make sense and even if I'll be tired of this look, I can always change it. But still, has somebody handled MIIK watches, , what do you think about them? |

| From what I have read, MKII makes nice watches. I have not seen any in person, but the MKII would be the closest thing to the original. Much more expensive than one of Noah's mods though. I have a Precista PRS-50 that is also a Blancpain homage. It's pretty cool, but after owning it for all of about a week, I realized it was not for me and now it's being traded for a Seiko orange Samurai. |

| I don't have any experience with MKII either Kuldar ! They look like tremendously well made watches though sir ! It all depends on how much you like them I guess. If you do like that look then maybe that's the way to go. However, Noah and Harold have a FANTASTIC reputation and would definitely make you happy IMHO ! ..What would be super cool, is to get one of each ! Seriously thought it IS a tough decision ! Take your time sir ! ____________________________________ | |

I DID see your cinematic review! Heh, it was kind of fun. I might try to do some more. The PRS-50 is on its way to its new owner! ' Why didn't you like the 50? Looked good to me when it was announced but owning is a better test. |

| It was a combination of a couple of different things. The entire case is polished and it was a little shiny for me, and the lugs are a little longer than I would like. It's a neat watch though. |
