Didn't Want You to Miss Out...

Just in case you haven't checked in at Shop lately....from 12am eastern time this morning, Shop will be running a total of 12 hours of Invicta today....yes, I said 12 friggin' hours......

I admit it: I still do tune in on occasion, though it tends to last about as long as the commercial breaks on Burn Notice or White Collar....did manage to catch part of the intro of "Today's Top Value" (what used to be "Our Top Value," which apparently was too confusing for Shop's new wave of clients)...45mm Pro diver with an SW200 auto...price isn't too outrageous, but it has two sticking points: that damn "flame fusion" crystal that Elvis and his sock puppets have convinced many is "better than sapphire," and the dial is made up of the "Invicta" name repeated over and over...and over and over.....and over and over...

Other than that, you can also get one of the seemingly inexhaustible SAN III versions, a dummied-down Leviathan, a $1600 SAN IV 7750 or a $1300 Venom w/Valgranges auto.......

Fortunately, there's no Slick to yell at you...unfortunately, Tim Temple now seems to want to spend part of every on-air minute reminding viewers of the inflated MSRP of whatever he's hawking......

Yeah man, I just plain don't tune in...

I stop occasionally channel surfing but rarely last more than about 30 seconds. I chuckle and move on.

. . . I had it on PIP occasionally. Sad to see the PD degraded as well. The one thing they had right and they went and fucked that up as well.

Oh well. If you don't like it don't watch. Kinda like a train wreck though . . . .

They sell watches on TV? Who'da thunk.

Seriously, no interest and don't even have ShopNBC on the main screen menu.

Yeah I've been checking it out - So far I've done well without buying.
But the Leviathan is still haunting me.

I haven't watched one of those shows in forever! I won't be tuning in anymore either. They have lost me as a customer as I don't drink the Kool-Aid anymore.

I've never watched a show,at least on shop.I watched tim temple on another tv show when they were selling oceanaut.I did take a look at the pd.
no idea what happened with that model.I've got the much older versions with the 2824, plus a scooby and a 4215.now those are cool.also had some decent lume.
