Last January, Jaeger-LeCoultre had the pleasure to announce the upcoming launch of its first timepieces exclusively created for its Beverly Hills Boutique. Following this announcement, the Swiss Manufacture unveiled last Friday the first prototypes of these very limited editions during a private event held in Beverly Hills near the boutique located at 9490B Brighton Way.
The Incursion Edition came to life with the Jaeger-LeCoultre Beverly Hills Boutique Connoisseurs Club (JLCBHBC). This exclusive pilot program was launched in 2009 by Jaeger-LeCoultre North America with the vision to create a local west-coast community among knowledgeable JLCBHBC members. Members were given the unique opportunity to have direct input with the Manufacture in creating the Master Compressor Diving Navy Alarm SEALs Beverly Hills Boutique Incursion Edition, resulting in a piece that captured their minds as well as their hearts.
The original Master Compressor Diving Alarm served as the optimal base platform housing a majority of the purposed needs for the Incursion Edition. Jaeger-LeCoultre’s perpetual quest for innovation, further adjustments and improved design details were employed to create subtle yet important changes to further optimize this Edition for its required usage. Originally planned in black gold, a very promising material at prototype stage that did not match Jaeger-LeCoultre’s high expectations of quality and long-lasting resistance, the limited edition of 19 pieces of this very exclusive series will be proposed in titanium with a black pvd coating, fully in tune with the Navy SEALs spirit of discretion.
