Where do you SEE the watch you wanna buy?

Where does the watch that you want to buy first catch your eye?

Usually at my local AD...if not there probably online since i spend some time surfing and always looking for the next watch.

I usually see something here or in another forum that starts me looking at a brand or a watch and then I check out websites and stuff, I really don't have ADs that have anything good.

Forums. I find the photos here and on other forums to be more realistic and revealing. Honestly, other than the ultra-luxury brands most need to hire someone that actually likes watches to do the marketing photos.

Definitely at forums. I've only been to 2 ADs and were snubbed at one. The other was Tourneau in Orlando and the dude that was behind the counter there was freakin AWESOME! But being as I'm of meager income, I am only in the second hand market on most watches.

It's kind of a combination with me ! I'll often see watches, and watch brands
that I get interested in, or want to buy, here at the forum. At the same time,
I also see watches I'd want at all of the different online sources that show
or sell watches. With the magazines not so much, it's nice looking in them,
but they usually don't have what I want. So it's the forum, as well as online
for me !

forums for me, once I see something I like I do more research to see if I really want to buy.
