| I had never seen them before, and thought they were something different. What was really interesting imho, was the whole hand crafted theme for such a reasonable price ! The cases are evidently made in-house, and everything about the watches is assembled by hand. They also work closely with the customer in creating the watch that they want. Pretty cool stuff ! I'm glad you guys liked them ! ____________________________________ | |

| Now you're talking Tom! I really like the looks of those watches! I noticed in the history it mentions making 12 pieces per year!!!! I actually don't think $1100 is too damn bad for a hand built watch! I did notice that the rotor is awfully plain for a swiss made movement. I actually thought it was a Miyota movement when I first saw it. But who looks at the movement anyway...(I do I do!!!) |

That's all he can fit in along with his job at the family liquor store.

| Yeah the crown is a little strange, but not unpleasantly strange. Plus, after we drink up his liquor we'll need the bigger crown to adjust the watch. |

OK. I'm still trying to figure out that crown, though. [/quote] I agree with you Duff, they are some intriguing watches. The 12 pieces a year thing is impressive also, and then to maintain a decent price like that is very commendable imho !..With the rotor, I think they are going for an overall traditional theme there. So it might be a little subdued with the look ! Tim, the crown is a little different. The way it looks, as well as where it is, is something you don't see every day. I think it helps give the watch it's own special personality though. My eyes did tend to drift toward it, especially when I first saw it. However, it really grew on me quickly ! ____________________________________

| My concern with the crown is even though it's at 2 o'clock it may still dig in to the wrist. Being as I prefer my watches a little loose on my wrist, anything with a large crown digs in and I am a delicate summabeech! |

Funny stuff Duff !..The old crown digging can be a problem ! Ya know I was thinking, if you ever decided to order one of these some day. Maybe you could ask them to move the crown down. They say that they work closely with the customer when building a watch. So that might remedy the problem, plus it would make your DMH a REALLY limited edition ! ____________________________________

| I guess they could give the watch some horological VIAGRA so the crown is at 12 O'CLOCK!!!! |

Positioned at 2, 3 or 4 o'clock are all going to be an issue, really. Unless you wear it on your right wrist, or have the crown moved to 10 for the left wrist.
I say circumcise it, and it's a really nice watch. Tim, they could probably make the crown smaller if you wanted, not sure ! Also it seems like the watch is meant to be worn on the right wrist like you said ! ____________________________________
