| Bernhardt Watch Company introduces the Binnacle Anchor. If you need a grab and go watch, this one is perfect. 40mm(excluding the signed screw down crown/ water resistance of 200 meters/ Miyota 8215 automatic movement. This one is good for dress or casual wear. The case has a built in end piece which gives a great look when worn with the included black strap with white stitching. The Binnacle Anchor also comes with a straight end solid link Bernhardt oyster bracelet which fits perfectly to the built in end pieces. The Anchor comes in black with white indices or white with orange indices. Bernhardt always gives great value at a more than competitive price. This one is no exception. Priced at only $199. For a short time Bernhardt is offering a pre-sale price of $175 shipped in the US ($200 if International shipping). The Anchor will be ready for shipping on or about mid July. If you want to get in on the presale just paypal funds to ID: bernhardtwatch@aol.com (make note on paypal if white or black is desired). For those of you wanting more information on the process Bernhardt has gone through to develop this watch within the WUS community - Check out this thread http://forums.watchuseek.com/showthread.php?t=311561The integrated end-links alone make this a unique but classic piece. The inspiration from the Explorer line in conjunction with the simple but effective Bernhardt branding really makes this line POP! |

| The size is good for a sport/dress watch, has sapphire, freds solid bracelet. The font looks like longines script. Price? thats going to be a hard sell at 199.00.The miyota is a great movement, but in quantity,it doesn't add much to the cost of this watch. Also, the mid-endlink case isn't something new.Thats basically a zeno watch.theres two companies. Zeno Basel which is swiss made and then Zeno watch company which produces watches in Korea. While I like fred and the original binnacle, this is a catalog watch. To many of them on the market already. |

What about the odd attachment point for the strap/bracelet? Is it just odd looking or is it proprietary/integrated? Do you have any idea? |

Tag heuers 500m diver has the same integrated straight mid piece built into the case.I'll look at zeno and see if they also have that. |

Whole lot of quartz watches out there at that price range. Good price for many people wanting a new auto with warranty, I'd think. But I'm sure the error of our thinking will soon be explained. |

| Cool Doc !!! A VERY nice and smooth looking watch ! I like the markers, along with numbers, and that anchor on the second hand steals the show ! Although that case back is pretty great also ! It's nice to be keeping an eye on Bernhardt now. They seem like a cool company, that puts alot of time and thought into their watches !..Thanks for the info, and links ! ____________________________________ | |
