New 8L35 based Seiko Diver

meh. Not crazy about handset-reminds me of the spring drive 600m. I like my Seiko's to have a 4 oclock crown too. Almost looks like they are trying to look Swiss

Agreed. Nice look for Seiko but, a common and typical looking diver with a Juicy Price Tag!

Simple, yet tough !!!..I like it Doc ! ..The price is a little
bit high, but it's still another GOOD looking Seiko if you as me !
Those hands look REALLY aggressive, and the markers match the
theme perfectly I think. That bezel looks very mean as well. Also
like how the black dial, flows right into the black bezel, making
the dial seem even bigger !..The bracelet, along with crown look
invincible too !

The price is more than alittle high.This watch offers nothing over the Sumo other than the 8L35 movement.
The 8L35 thats in the mm300 is the base version that from observations by owners on other forums tends to run
on the slow side.Until Seiko ups the movement grade for these,I don't think they are worth the asking price.
Seikos done well over the years by producing Seiko watches that look like seiko watches.
This one is a departure and take the name away,is just another generic looking dive watch.
