Wow !
Congratulations on winning this one Thian !!! ..It looks like it has a real presence
on the wrist, and I think that bezel looks just INCREDIBLE from what I can see. Really seems
like Seiko put alot of effort into designing it. ..From the sporty, refined outside, to the solar
powered movement inside, this one looks like a WINNER ! Looking at the bezel first, I think
what Seiko did is pretty great. It still has that unmistakeable signature Seiko feel to it with
it's bold, yet classy look in my opinion. However, it brings in those larger bezel teeth, cool
raised numbers, and markings, as well as a nice metallic, almost beadblasted looking finish
on top. It's just TERRIFIC I think ! Honestly, when you think about it, Seiko has so many
different bezel styles to choose from with their watches, and this is just another great
option for people to consider. I also like how the inner polished part of the bezel with the
small dot markers on it kind of mirrors the polished look of the raised numbers, markers,
bezel teeth, along with 12 o'clock marker/lume pip. What an eye-catching combination !
Plus it helps to basically show off that metallic, beadblasted, textured top portion of the
bezel as well.
..Yet another attractive aspect to your new Seiko Thian HAS to be
the dial. What is so interesting about it is that once again you have that signature Seiko
style there with the markers, and hands. You really can never appreciate enough the effort
that Seiko puts into creating the various different marker, and hand looks first of all. Just
seein all of the different designs is nice enough. However, then to have them continue to
mix in more, and more combinations is excellent imho. I like the triangle-like shapes that
are used here on this one very much, and the double, side by side ones at the 12 o'clock
position are always alot of fun to see. Same thing goes for the hands. Once again Seiko
seems to have such a wide array of hand looks to go with their watches it's amazing.
These ones here have a little more traditional, and classic look to them, but still manage
to have some edge, and attitide TOO ! ..Also think the combination of chrome, along
with white works REALLY well. Same thing goes for the markers, and how they show up
against the black dial. It's perfect ! ..Even the chapter ring looks as if it has the same look,
and style with it's markings. Not only does it have the traditional hash marks, but it also
looks to have those triangle-like shaped markings reflecting that same look of the ones
on the dial. Wow ! ..Staying with the dial, it's neat to see how as you get closer, you
can see the countless cool rings which make up a pattern or circles. Guess that is part
of the solar dial, but it also looks fantastic as well, and brings yet another interesting
design feature into the mix sir. Hey, and lets not forget that super solar movement that
you mentioned. That six month power reserve is OUTSTANDING ! What an amazing watch
Thian, both inside, and out. From the incredible bezel, and dial, to the solar movement,
and even invincible strap, and beautiful case-back. ..This Seiko is a REAL winner !!!
