It's the Hamilton 921 pocket watch movement.
The 917, 921, 923 and 945 are all able to work the same, slightly larger than the 6497, but the second hand is the same distance 10mm.
the hand hole sizes are different. This is a case I got from Wilson watch works, he had a Hamilton project and got his last two. Really a simple drop in movement case made for the Hamilton.

I have access to bunches of pocket watch movements....hmmm, so this was the last couple of cases or can you still order a case and dial combo?

he has none left, I got the last two which were extras from his Hamilton project, the other will be a watch for my wife. He said in a phone conversation that he couldn't get anymore. He does have similar cases that fit the 6497's and 8's

How about the dial Ron; did Wilson do that, too? Have you thought about putting something into the oval area under twelve?

I want to screen print something there on the dial, just not sure what yet. This dials feet fit the Hamilton movement, other dials I have will fit the case but would need to attach them differently to the movement

here is the link to what I was going for, if you notice they do print whatever you want on the dials

Pretty cool. I like the "J.H. Todd" script.
