Fossil Stepping it up a bit...

The case, in stainless steel, measures 47.5mm X 15mm. It has a mineral crystal and is water resistant to 200 meters.

Movement is a Japanese quartz caliber. It comes with a stainless-steel bracelet and a black polyurethane strap.

MSRP is $150. FROM TZ....

Very sharp just wish they had eliminated the partial "3" next to the date since it has a cyclops but it could just be the angle of the photo.

It's than angle of the photo...

...if you look at the first picture real close, you can see the entire "3"...

Fossil reps prepare their own showcases. While at Macy's today, a lady was arranging watches in a turnstyle display. I didn't realize they went through the expense of having someone prepare displays rather than have a store employee do it.

However, based on my G-Shock story (see new thread) I wouldn't trust them to do it!

Wifey just bought a Fossil after her Tissot bit the butt. Hair spring broke.

I like fossil.

I had my sights on a nice SS Seamaster quartz with date for her. Used it was only $750 form Jared, but she said no. WOMEN!!

So yeah. Fossil has a nice variety and they are so damn cheap for being so reliable.

Fossil is a great value. They set their sights on Timex back in the mid-90's and proceeded to kick some ass. They became known for their unique packaging and limited editions of retro licensed pop culture icons.

As far as handling their own merchandising, they have no choice if they want to be in department stores. Brands in the dept stores basically rent space within the store, in order for their brand to have a presence there. They're also responsible for the tidiness of the merchandise within the space they rent. Gotta pay to play!
