At some point the negative predictions of Favre's play may play out. We'll see.

But, like most gamblers, they only tell their friends when they win a few bucks and rarely remind you of when they lost. In the end, their cumulative losses far outweigh their winnings.

Should be a REAL good game ! ..It's great that they start off
with such an even match up. ..That last game the Vikings,
and Saints played last year was pretty memorable. Hopefully,

Favre's comeback from ankle surgery, marking the start of his 20th season, was largely unspectacular. Despite being sacked only once and hit not nearly as often, nor as hard, as in the NFC title game, he looked out of sync or inaccurate at times. That Minnesota was without star receiver Sidney Rice might have had something to do with that.

"There's three or four throws that I just missed," Favre said. "I have no excuse. I just missed."

Both teams looked RUSTY last night IMO and I think BOTH will have good seasons.

Say what you want, Brett is a FORTY YEAR OLD MAN playing his TWENTIETH SEASON IN THE NFL!

I'm a Saints fan, but I admire Favre. Say what you want about him, he's lasted 20 seasons in the NFL and is still in demand. I don't know what percentage of players make it to his level but it's gotta be a low number. Does he have a bit of a premadonna attitude? Maybe so but he has earned it. I like the man ... he has grit.
