So what are you guys picking up on tonight?

I don't do Stuhrling. Bad, bad experiences a few years back. Never again

I am picking up the remote to change the channel!!!

I could swear I hear a caller say his name was Duffy.

I've had 2 watches from them, both the Apocalypse. Not looking to buy any more currently, but that watch is fantastic! They've got some other great deals in their lineup, but not for me.

I actually called up tonight and got on air early in the first hour tonight just to talk about the Apocalyse. I don't wear yellow gold much, but the one i got for XMAS is such a pleasure to wear and looks sick against the black rubber and bezel.

Didn't really talk to that...host...ol' what's his name , but it was great to talk to Larry Magen. I think he's an awesome dude, came to a WG GTG in my hometown.

These shows remind me of Ed Wood movies.

the shows have been good so far. I am a big fan of Larry and he is a good guy and straight shooter.

+2 nothing against SO or Larry but too many other watches out there i would rather lust after! done with the TV stuff(would rather have a seiko or one of noah's watches over anything they have) unless i need a good laugh!!

Tried really hard to like SO
Ended up sending every one back.

Not to get personal, Larry has a bizarre, robotic quality about him. He doesn't seem particularly sincere to me - and his product absolutely sucks based on my personal experience. The brand has a defect rate that makes Invicta look like Patek!
Also, his hair is very weird. I kept wanting to offer him a comb. I thought he might straighten up after a break, but he came back the same. That means he actually LIKES his hairstyke. Reminds me of another Larry:

I bought a couple for my boys. They like them. The Alpine in blue is actually very cool looking. I have spoken to Larry and he is a good guy. They have had some issues with quality but they seem to be good with their CS. You chicken shits commenting about his mannerisms and looks should try looking in the mirror.

Anybody that takes a swipe at another company owner on air is okay in my book. I heard a caller ask when Stuhrling was going to put out a winder. Larry's response was that there were enough quality winders on the market, and that he's not in the business to put his name on someone else's work. Booyah Bitches!

Wow, watching SNBC and QVC and all of those others sounds like the network "reality" television shows. Bitch-slapping watch geeks. Glad I don't watch any of it.
