| Tachymeter - Never. Moon Phase - Like the look, but usually a pain to calibrate. Chrono - Use often. Slide Rule - Never and forgot how to use one.

| I have a Hamilton X-Wind that has all kinds of crap on it for figuring out wind speed, etc. NEVER used, but the watch is awesome! I have chronos and tachys that I never use. The only complication I ever use is the day date. |

| I'm gonna be honest here... apart from the time & date anything else the watch can do doesn't get used.
I'm simple like that, maybe that's why I am bias toward 3 hand automatics...? |

| It's funny because even though I do have more than a few chronos, I really don't use all of the functions. To be honest, I used to think it was nice to have different things happening on the dial. Now I'm just happy to have a simple dial that looks good, and basically just tells me the time, and date. Although I have to admit that as of late the map meters, and N, S, E, and W has been peaking my interest ! ..Mainly because I really don't have any watches that have those options or functions yet, and they also do look a bit different too. Tachymeter, and Slide Rule features look good to, but again probably wouldn't use them. As for Moon Phase, that would be very cool on a more dressier watch I guess. ____________________________________ | |

| the only complications that i find useful is the day/ date, and second hand, and if i only had one watch that was a automatic and had no winder a power reserve might be nice. all others ive only used for fun, even a gmt i have no use for. i do have relatives in diferant time zones but its pretty simple just to add 2-3 hours to my time! steve | |

| I like the simplicity of a mechanical and the look of the small seconds. My second choice is a three hand center second hand. I do use a chrono a bit but think the pushers and extra subdials generally clutter up a perfectly good looking watch. If I want to time something I would rather go to a digital chrono for a more accurate reading. Dates I don't need but prefer a 7751 over a 7750 and you have the moon with the days, month and day. | |
