Whoa Tom !
..This one is pretty INCREDIBLE here !!!
I didn't even know Stowa had been making watches for so
long, so thanks for the history lesson about them !
It's
amazing the great shape that these vintage watches you
find are in Tom. They basically look brand new in my opinion.
As if they could have been just made by Stowa. By the way,
I think it would be neat if Stowa started making these again !
The dial on this watch is extremely eye-catcing. In one photoit looks like a slate blue, then in the other, the reflection seems
to make it darker. It's VERY nice, and kind of like a chameleon
of sorts. I definitely like the markers on your vintage Stowa
as well. The shape is excellent, but so is the way in which
they rise up off of the dial in an almost
3D-like style ! Yet another nice aspect about the watch, are those sporty
sub-dials. The white is great, and that even carries over to
the chapter ring. It's another nice touch there if you ask me !
As are the elegant looking hands, and small dot markers that
are behind the main markers. There really are many neat details
on this watch, and the case is yet another STUNNING part also.
Just the shape alone is PHENOMENAL ! ..You don't often get to
see that style every day. Then the way the brushing is done,
and how the lines move outward in such a cool pattern is TOO
GOOD as well. You definitely found another special piece here
Tom !
..There is so much here to see, and to enjoy, it's
pretty extraordinary. I mean the outside of the watch is
TREMENDOUS, but then we see the inside. Honestly has to
be considered a piece of art, with all of the decoration, and
craftsmanship happening there !!! ..Add in what looks to be
an exceptional mesh bracelet, and your new Stowa finishes
with straight A's imho ! ..What A watch !!! Congratulations
Tom ! ..I know you are ENJOYING this one sir !!!
Super watch as well as pictures too !
