PostSubject: Three watches I'm 'eyeballing'...   Three watches I'm 'eyeballing'... Icon_minitimeMon Dec 13, 2010 3:26 pm

Since I don't seem to have any watches to wear ( Three watches I'm 'eyeballing'... 744742 ), I've been seriously looking at these three new ones, plus the WWII Hammie chronograph PW.

Watch U guys think?

Junkers 6450-2 East West Automatic ($308) in 42mm (on a HD mesh):

...plus I'm looking at these Hammie chronos ($300-$600), issued to the Army Air Corps during WWII (1943-45):

Thanks, Trev. Yeah, it's a Japanese auto, as Junkers and others have had to migrate away from the ETAs.

Wowee Tom !!!!! cyclops..cheers These are ALL pretty FANTASTIC ! Thinking
you might just have to get every one of them ! lol! I like the
Junkers as well. Just has a NEAT looking case, dial, and of course
MOVEMENT imho. ..The Russian Sukhoi is beautiful too though,
with it's exciting dial, case, and TREMENDOUS case-back. Wow !

The Oris is something special as well, with it's unbelievably NICE
bezel, not to mention PHENOMENAL dial, and hand style. Those
movements, along with case-backs are BEYOND cool also, if you
ask me sir. Three watches I'm 'eyeballing'... 46145 REALLY liking your Hamilton pocket watch you
are looking at too. The bezel is similar to the one on the Oris,
and that dial is simply incredible with all of it's detail, as well
as character. Speaking of character ! ..How about the etched
case-back on that one, along with the beauty of the movement ?!
..You honestly couldn't go wrong with any ONE of them, or ALL
of them for that matter Tom. Smile ..Good luck choosing in any
case !

I'd opt for the Oris, but I'm a sucker for a coin edge bezel.

I have the Oris in sliver, I would buy that watch again in a heartbeat...so I have to go with that. The other two are very nice however and I don't think you can make a bad choice.

The Junkers and Russian models look great! Price is right too Very Happy
I'm impressed at the Russian models coming out lately and think they will be great sellers in the near future. Japanese watches are getting a bit too high priced lately haha!

The Oris is more "You" PC - if I can say such a thing.
Also really biased - Haven't taken of my new F1 for over a week.
