New Movement...

The demand for large watches has grown steadily over the last few years. Ronda is therefore launching at the Baselworld 2011 show its “Mastertech 8000” line, offering the watch making industry for the first time XXL chronographs in the 15ligne (33.80 mm) size. The 8040.B model features a classic design with three eyes at 3, 6, and 9 o’clock, as well as a big 3.6 x 5.5 mm date indicator. The caliber 8040.N also has a retrograde day indicator at 12 o’clock.

Quartz! Sorry but guess i'm a watch snob! If im going to wear a quartz it better tell me the weather temp, my temp and a couple other things! G-shock, Breitling B-1 or the TAG ana-digi!

Looks like a very nice watch by Ronda ! Has a REAL classy style about it, and the
dial adds some excitement in also. Especially liking how the day complication
looks up at the top. Some REALLY smooth looking hands, sub-dials, and accents
here too ! I remember seeing some of their watches a couple years ago at their
website, and had thought they were pretty nice back then. ..Would actually be
great if more movement manufacturers got into making watches imho.
