I've been looking at this GMT Master from 1981 all day long. To me, it's the perfect Rolex,
right down to the two-tone Jubilee bracelet. Problem is, I'd have to scrounge together every
penny in my various "watch funds" to afford it: both PayPal accounts, three watch bank
accounts, plus the proceeds from the three solid gold vintages I'll be selling soon. If I did it,
I'd be drained dry, with no money to buy anything and no money to buy watches to flip for
a profit. I sure as hell don't want to sell my Heuer Calculator, or my vintage Breitling cushion,
or my TAG-Heuer Autavia, or my "new" Accutron Astronaut. I think I'm just screwed on this
one.

Sweet Looking Watch Tom! If I was to limit my watch collection to just a couple of pieces, a Rolex would be one of those. Not a big fan of gold but in your example, it works for me!

It's got to be a tough decision Tom, that is for sure, because it's extremely
cool looking with the whole vintage bezel, and GMT theme. I'm hoping that
this one will pop up for you again at some point down the road again. Until
then, looking on the bright side, you will be able to look at other fantastic
vintage watches in the mean time. Smile

Perfect compliment to:
your Heuer Calculator, Breitling cushion, TAG-Heuer Autavia, and Accutron Astronaut.

I think '81 or about depending on the market was the transition to sapphire crystal and the larger crown.

Nah. Too cliche' for Tom. You're collection is filled with awesome pieces. Don't ruin it!
