Guess i'll just vent a bit, take my words with a grain of salt as I'm just butt hurt!

CliffNotes:
1. Two years ago WG's, Jim Skelton & Invicta hold a photo competition for a watch.
2. After some time there is first a short list and then a semifinal, a shoot out is held and i win!
3. A few follow up PMs between JS and myself spanning over a year and a half and nothing.
4. I start a thread on WGs bringing the whole thing to the forum's attention.
5. A few months pass and finally I post in thread "keep your watch but donate the MSRP of the watch to StJudes Research Hospital"
6. I check the thread once a week to see if WGs or Jim or Invicta respond to my post...
7. Yesterday i try to log in to check the thread and I no longer am recognized by the system i.e. username & password don't work anymore
8. I lost my passion for Invicta a long time ago, but their handling of the whole situation only shows their true colors.

I'm all about principle, I don't need a watch and even less an Invicta... it is what it is and it ain't nothing else.

It's their easy way to take care of things they don't want to deal with.

Crappy treatment Guy, but I would not expect any different. The place is run that way, if you bring up a problem or offer a different view, you are attached or even banned. Sad, but true!

you're better off, the watch would've probably arrived broken (thanks UPS) and you'd have to pay to have it fixed. BTW, it still shows you as a member. You're one of the 30,000 members still reported as active though you've been banned.

I remember when you won that contest. Did'nt realize you never got your prize. To me, it's not even about the prize but the principal. Really sad how the folks who run that forum treat people. Typical asshattery.

Sorry Guy, WG's is pure crap and nothing like it was when we first started it! The truth is they promised a bunch of free watches for best shot to WG of the month and most never received them! I can honestly say i've given away more watches in the last three years than that billion dollar dump called invicta! Take the banning as a proud moment because anything that scares them gets banned and even the newbies are questioning that dump these days! A small company like NFW could make a very nice donation to St. Judes but eyal and all his money cant seem to give a cheap watch away more less do something as classy as Big George has done!Welcome to your early release and back into the real world!
