Daylight savings...spring ahead, fall back. Been kicking around planet earth for 50 years and I still have not been given any logical explanation of why we still do this bit of silliness. How exactly do we save daylight by changing the time? In this day of 24 hour, 'round the clock continuous on the move society what exactly is the benefit? It's still dark no matter what "time" we say it is so the rational of saving electricity (lights on etc) is pointless. OK... mini rant over.

I heard they are doing away with it in a year or two...

Great points Chris. I know they have been saying that they might do a way with daylight
savings for a while now too, but it seems like they never get around to it. Oh well, maybe
next time. At least we might be able to see the stories on the news of the various watch
stores changing the times on a bunch of watches. Smile

Thanks for the reminder Alan !
