Oh cool Thian !
Noah, and Jake have done it again with this one here ! You
have that great Seiko look combined with some REAL modding magic imho.
All of it makes for one especially unique watch. The stealthiness of the case
finish is PHENOMENAL, and the style of these dials completes the look perfectly.
I mean the base, stock version of these watches would be cool enough for
people. However, when a watch is transformed like this, it becomes something
new, something different than what we are used to seeing. That is just ONE
of the things that makes a watch like this SO attractive I think.
You don't
have to worry about seeing this watch on someone else's wrist. It immediately
becomes a new kind of classic. One that is amazingly NICE in it's quality, along
with uniqueness, but MEAN it it's extremely stealthy looks !
Just looking at
the dial, it's easy to see that the watch has a different way of doing things. It
takes alot of what we have known, and seen with dive watches over the years,
and then kicks it up. The dot markers are always a staple much of the time on
a dive watch. However, the oval markers are TOO GOOD, and bring in a further
feeling of something different, and new. That upside down triangle marker at
the twelve o'clock position was an AWESOME element thought up by Seiko as
well. Even the small hash marks that extend off of the six, nine, and twelve
o'clock positions are neat. Actually it seems like all of it is NEAT when you really
stop, and start enjoying everything about the watch. Take the hands for instance,
and how they are shaped ! They seem to follow in the footsteps of the marker
look with their shape, but also the cool extensions coming off of the ends. It's
just a nice twist on the classic look imho. One that keeps a cool, sporty feel
going, and still manages to introduce something new, and exciting at the very
same time.
It's that excitement that allows for this watch to become so
much more than the stock version, and Both Noah, and Jake have been
mastering this art for some time now.
..I mean the way this bezel
works with the dial, AND also SPECTACULAR beadblasted DLC case is just
EXTRAORDINARY in my opinion. The sinister black bezel with it's shiny finish,
along with numbers, and markers is flawless. It also contrasts just slightly with
unique finish on the case. Can't get over how the surface of the coating
looks. It's like a deep black coming together with a cool carbon gray. That,
along with the especially eye-catching look of the surface texture continues
to take this Seiko on an EXTREMELY wild ride if you ask me.
..One that
makes this Seiko stand out in a crowd of the ordinary, and makes THIS watch
EXTRAORDINARY ! Congratulations on having such a GREAT watch Thian.
..Enjoy !
Extraordinary watch, as well as photo !
