| Lies. All lies. You guys need to stop telling lies and trying to hurt the reputation of these nice people. - ChesterDogg wrote:
- I can almost guarantee they are making money hand over fist:
1. SNBC's Retail Price is over inflated leaps and bounds. What's gripes me the most, they emphasize, This is X amount for this watch instead of their current price on the screen. I do not believe they would really mark down an item so dramtic to make the item look like a bargain.
2. I bought one of the OTV Cordubas that was priced around $219.00. It wasn't even two weeks when I seen on Amazont they were selling the same watch for $159.00. The ones who thought they got a good deal ended up getting the shaft. I don't mind selling a watch less than waht I paid, but I don't like it when I loose that much.
Bottom line is Invicta is SNBC's bread and butter. They are in business to make money. There is no way I would ever walk into a store that sells Invicta and pay full price on an item that is worth less than what is advertised on SNBC. I have played the game for the last time, and I have bought my last Invicta. - WatchNoob wrote:
- Jewelery has always had astronomical markups in general. Watches being considered Jewelery is no different. 40% is actually very low when compared to the Retail market. If you know anyone in the Retail world, talk with them and see what they tell you markups are on various watch lines, it's scary. Invicta is really no different then most others, you just need to know when to buy. I highly doubt any sane person is going to go out and spend $3000 on an Invicta watch, so yes their MSRP's are grossly exaggerated. It's a sales tool that the Hosts use when they say you are getting a $3000 watch for $239. I find the practice highly demeaning to the average intelligence of a watch buyer. I'm seriously contemplating calling in one night and doing the rah-rah, I love Invicta I own 9000 of them, blah blah and dropping the bomb that you'd have to be an idiot to buy this watch at your suggested MSRP. I wonder how long the delay is at Shop? 15 seconds?
