Oh NICE Rick !
This really IS a beauty from what I can see here !!! It's got
to be the first time I have seen one in person like this. Or at least almost in
person with these EXCELLENT pics of your's.
The whole watch is honestly
mesmerizing with it's combination of classic, and contemporary lines, curves,
accents, as well as quality. The whole limited edition factor makes it even more
attractive also imho. This Magrette is MESMERIZING Rick ! Congrats on adding
it to your collection. ..One thing that always seems to catch the eye with watches
like this, is how the companies combine older, classic traits, with newer, more
modern ones. Honestly have been noticing this more, and more recently, and
it's pretty TERRIFIC I think. It's like watch companies both big, and small have
decided to take the best of the past, and then added in what is cool today, to
make watches that can already stand the test of time.
This Magrette manages
to do this REALLY well ! First off the case is just fantastic with it's iconic shape.
At times the case looks to be square, then you notice some real roundness,
and curves too. It's an AMAZING combination ! Even when you view it from the
sides, you get surprised because of the way it angles both inward, and downward.
The mixing of polished, along with brushed sections takes things up yet another
level with this Magrette as well ! ..Later some of those modern elements begin
to show up in the look, with the colors used on the bezel, and dial imho. The
bezel starts it off with the extremely nice looking black finish that helps to make
the dial flow more, and even look larger. All of the markings on the bezel seem
to have that cool green/yellow color to them as well, which looks to mirror
the color of the name "Moana Pacific" on the dial.
That together with the
similarly done markers on the dial is something to see. Plus the combination of
the green, white, AND red helps to make the watch that much more mesmerizing.
Another modern meeting vintage theme could be how you have those classic
looking hands on the dial, but then there is this unique look that the numbers
have on the dial. For example, the 12 meeting up with the 03, 06, and 09 ! It's
just a small detail, but still one that can help make a watch stand out more sir.
Same goes for the sporty red numbers on the outer part of the dial, and how
they play off of the stitching in the strap. That is once again something that is
easy on the eyes, and also shows you how much effort Magrette puts into their
watches evidently. Even the logo, on the crown, along with brightness of the
lume is MESMERIZING ! Congrats, and I hope you really enjoy Rick !!!
Mesmerizing Magrette, along with pictures of it !
