This is my first from the British watch company Christopher Ward. Ordering direct was easy, service was prompt and delivery by post took one week. This is my first 'Pilot' watch and I really like the cream colored dial and the excellent legibility of the dial markings. At 44mm by 52mm and with a 37.5mm dial it wears large and I'm wearing it on the last position on the strap. I have a 7 1/4 inch wrist.

It has minimal lume, but is sufficient to read easily as the hands are quite large. The case is blasted and the case back has a small exhibition 'port hole'.
The engine is an ETA-2824-2.

All in all a watch of high quality at an affordable price.

Good looking watch. I really like the cream dial. I bought a similar pilot C8 (black) some time back. After seeing yours and Jaw's I kind of wish I had gone with that color. Congrats.

Man oh man, that looks NICE Rick ! Very Happy Sounds like the service, and delivery time
was excellent also. London Calling: 803574 Seems like Christopher Ward really takes pride in how they
do things. From that customer service, to the actual look, and feel of the watch,
it's VERY impressive ! Congratulations on having such a great first Pilot's watch !!!
..One of the first things you notice about this watch Rick is how Christopher Ward
gives you that tried, and true Pilot's theme, but with a slight modern twist. Really
looks like a classic, but has these little distinct details that seem to help separate
it from other similar watches. Just the way that they did the triangle marker at
the 12 o'clock position for example is different. Think it's because it has that curve
to it on the bottom, as well as the black outline around it. Even the combination
of the cream dial, with the black markings, and numbers adds a unique feel to
this one. On the one hand you have that classic, as well as elegant feel with the
cream colored dial, but then the manner in which the numbers, and even hands
look against it seems new somehow. It's pretty incredible ! Smile Also think the way
the black outline on the hands shows up against the cream dial is a very nice
touch as well, and even reflects the triangle, and dot marker look too. ..That
second hand could not be nicer either with it's awesome dot marker at the
end of it also. Just genuinely seems as though Christopher Ward wanted to
take something that was classic, or traditional, and give it a few cool updates.
Seems like they genuinely succeeded because this watch already has that
timeless theme to it, but at the same time has a fresh feel to it. ..There is also
something to be said about this case here Rick. Not only does it have that nice,
traditional look, and feel, but it TOO has that modern twist with the bead, or
sand blasted finish. Really is something special going on with the whole way
the cream dial is working with that blasted finish. The numbers, markers, along
with hands leap off the dial as a result, and when it's dark you can REALLY see
those hands, and triangle marker with dots perfectly by the way. ..It doesn't
seem to stop there though ! After you have seen all of the neat details with
the watch itself, it is the strap that impresses next. That color is just fantastic,
and the stitching you are talking about is beautiful as well. Even the way it tapers
is excellent Rick ! London Calling: 803574 What a COOL Christpher Ward ! Congrats, and as always
..Enjoy !

Cool watch, AND photos !

Yep it's a keeper all right. My first Brit as well, and very happy with it. Like the larger hands of your MKII - but not enough to give up the red sec hand of my MKI. Also love the minimal yet strong lume. Enjoy.
