Hey Max, it's GREAT to see you sir !
Looks like your second watch of the year
is pretty INCREDIBLE here !
Seems like it has a lot of character to it with
the way the case, and dial is done, and there just seems to be so much attention
paid toward the various details with this Accutron. It has this ultra high end feel,
mixed with a super sportiness as well, and on top of it all, seems to be doing it's
very own thing which is FANTASTIC ! Congratulations on picking up one that you
have been after for a while. ..It's really something how much there is to discover
about the Curacau Max. Genuinely seems like Accutron didn't want to do the usual
with the watch, because no matter where you turn, it's exciting.
Taking a look
at the bezel first, there is a little Breitling in there, but it's still doing it's own thing
at the same time too. The look of those cool shaped plates around the outside
of the bezel are so cool. They also look a little bigger than the ones that are on
Breitlings. On top of that, the way in which they actually seem to connect the
various levels of the bezel to eachother is phenomenal also. Genuinely helps to
give the watch this amazing 3D feel to it. Like it is rising up like some metallic
mountain from the wrist. All of the marking, and hash marks allow the bezel to
look as if it is moving also. Yowza !!! Even the polished, along with the brushed
finishes add some extra excitement into the mix, and you can appreciate the
view from the top, or the side. Especially liking how from the side you can see
more of those raised sections, along with that three dimensional multiple square
pattern that is on them. The detail in the teeth is great also, along with how
the rest of the case brings in these beautiful curves, and accents. Even the crown
with it's Accutron emblem, along with pushers is done right. ..It's the perfect
blend of exciting design, sportiness, and class Max. Later it's the dial that takes
the spotlight with it's own unique twists, and turns. First the chapter ring gives
you a nice amount of depth with the dial. Then the markings there, seem to
mirror the hash marks on the bezel which is neat. After that you can enjoy the
sporty, yet elegant rectangular markings, and matching style of the hands.
Wow ! What a team there !!! Even the second hand takes things up a few levels
with it's red accents on it which seem to play off the red on the one sub-dial
too. Add to that a feel like the rest of the sub-dials are almost staring at you
in a cool way, along with an UNBELIEVABLY nice dial pattern, and you have
yet another couple of reasons why this Accutron is FANTASTIC !
Hey, and
can't forget the strap with it's beautiful clasp, and pattern in the rubber which
seem to reflect the pattern on the dial sir. Holy COW, this watch has it ALL !
