Who needs self control when a watch looks THIS GOOD Mark ?!
...Yowza,
what A STUNNER ! Plus like you said, you can always use a nice reliable quartz in
the collection, as well a the stealthy diver look that the PVD, along with the Isofrane
gives.
It's a really unique watch imho with that style of bezel TOO. Have
always thought that was an INCREDIBLE design that stands out among all of the
various divers that are out there. ..So in the end, you picked out a great looking
Victorinox, which really seems to be backed up with that known Victorinox quality.
Congratulations ! ..Staying with that quality theme for just a second, it's something
to see how this PVD looks. You can see that it's deeply embedded into the steel
of the watch, and even looks as if it molds itself into whatever surface it happens
to be on. For example on the smoother raised sections of the bezel, there is an
almost mirror-like look. While on the lower sections of the bezel, as well as case,
it has a more matte finish. It's pretty FANTASTIC ! ..You can even see the grain,
or lines in the steel !
In addition to the PVD, the style, or look of the watch is
REALLY nice also. There is a great mix of classic dive watch elements, AND also
some more original aspects. The classic elements might be the overall shape of
the case, along with numbers, and markings, and how they are done on both the
bezel, and dial. Can't get enough of that 12 to 4 o'clock section on the bezel, or
the combination of cool dot, and rectangular markers on the dial. Even the hands
have a sharp, no nonsense way about them that reminds you of the timeless
dive watches of the past. ..At the same time though, this Victorinox has some
VERY original aspects like we said before. The bezel probably holds most of the
innovation with those various raised sections, and it's just PHENOMENAL. What
is so nice is how Victorinox implemented the look without overshadowing the
look of the watch. Instead, you get a uniquely cool idea that actually helps the
watch become more dynamic, and enjoyable. Each part of the bezel that is both
raised, but also lowered adds more, and more character to the watch imho, and
it helps to accentuate everything that the watch has to offer. Which honestly
looks to be quite A LOT Mark ! ..Even the dial brings in some exceptional ideas
with those markers, and hands we mentioned before, but also that combination
of silver, black, and green of the lume. The Victorinox emblem at the 12 o'clock
position is out of this world as well, and your sinister Isofrane fits the personality
of this diver perfectly too. Once again, what A Stunner !!! Congrats, and keep
enjoying !
Stunning watch, along with pictures !
