Rolex Anchor
One of the cool items included in Rolex and Tudor Submariner packaging through 2005 was an anchor.
Besides commemorating the water resistance of the watch, the little anchor seems to have served no other purpose.

My first Rolex was a Submariner 1680. At the point that I purchased the watch, the watch was 15 years old and did not come with any packaging. My newer Submariner 14060 (circa 2000) came with all its boxes and paper, but did not include the anchor. Always wanting my watches to be complete, I went looking for an anchor.

In the course of about three days I procured:

• Tudor 200M/660 ft. Anchor. This anchor is correct for my Tudor Submariner.

• Rolex 1000 ft/300M. Correct for my 2000 14060.

Here is a link to a great history of the Rolex anchor. http://www.rnoud.com/index.php?option=com_content&view=article&id=40%3Ahistory-of-the-rolex-anchor&catid=19%3Aspotted&Itemid=41&showall=1

Now that I have them, what should I do with them? Wear them around my neck? Decorate my rearview mirror? Suggestions are welcome.
If you have an anchor or have an idea what I should use them for, share in this thread.

cool part of the Rolex and Tudor watch Chris!
whatever you do, use the anchors if you will keep them, don't let them sit in a box.
If you collect for rarity, still use it and enjoy what you have to the fullest.

These are extremely COOL Christopher ! Cool The Rolex Anchor 803574

I like when watch companies do little things like this, and it makes it even more
interesting too since they stopped giving them with the watches back in 2005.
Also is nice how many different variations there are with the different models of
watches. Really great stuff, along with information Chris. Thank you for telling
us about these, as well as for giving us this link.

Congratulations on finding these anchors sir. Would definitely do as Ron said, and
make sure that you enjoy them. Maybe display them in any way you like. Smile

That Rolex Submariner looks beautiful, congrats. I collect Rolex Watches myself and just purchased a Rolex Cellini Omigra just waiting for it to arrive and will post pix once I get it!
